CRESCOM BANK NOW FEATURES EPISODES OF LOCAL TELEVISION PROGRAM ‘MILITARY MEMOIRS’ ON ITS WEBSITE
Oct. 18, 2013, Myrtle Beach, S.C. – Fans of the locally produced television program “Military Memoirs” can now watch episodes on CresCom Bank’s website. The community bank is a sponsor for the 30-minute program, which during each episode features the story of one United States Armed Forces veteran and includes his or her story through photographs, maps and archival film footage. Episodes are currently available on the bank’s website.
The sponsorship is the result of CresCom Bank’s continued support of area veterans, which includes its free Veteran’s Checking services and products. For additional information about CresCom Bank’s veteran-specific services and products, visit http://www.haveanicebank.com/personal/veterans-checking/.
“Military Memoirs” airs daily on Educational Channel 12 (HTC Cable and Time-Warner Cable) at 10:30 a.m., 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Conway Ford is also a co-sponsor of the program.
“We’re excited to expand our support for the ‘Military Memoirs’ program by featuring its invaluable interviews on our website,” said CresCom Bank Chief Executive Officer David L. Morrow. “The more channels and mediums we can share our country’s history and veterans’ contributions with, the better. We’re proud to be sponsors of the program and support our area veterans.”
“Military Memoirs” is produced by the Center for Military and Veterans Studies at Coastal Carolina University (CCU) and the CCU Department of Media Services.
All interviews, as well as additional oral history interviews collected by the Center for Military and Veterans Studies, are preserved at the U.S. Library of Congress through a partnership between the Center and the Library’s Veterans History Project.
About CresCom Bank
CresCom Bank’s origins were derived from the consolidation of Crescent Bank and Community FirstBank.
Both Community FirstBank (Charleston) and Crescent Bank (Myrtle Beach) were founded by local business leaders committed to building successful banks in both cities under the umbrella of parent holding company Carolina Financial Corporation. The reason for both banks forming was the same: as a response to several large bank mergers that left few community banking choices for area residents and businesses.
CresCom Bank has 10 locations along the coast of South Carolina. Offering a strong core of banking products and services and a committed group of community leaders, management and personnel, CresCom Bank remains committed to warm, exceptional service and a strong knowledge of local businesses and economic trends.
It’s this dedication that makes "Have a nice bank." more than just a slogan, but a commitment to service. This combined with years of experience and unique understanding of financial opportunities along coastal South Carolina that makes CresCom Bank the perfect fit for either personal or business financial needs.
