CresCom Bank Launches CresCom University, New Internal Training Program

May 6, 2014, Charleston, S.C. – This spring, CresCom Bank has launched its new in-house training and development program, aptly named CresCom University, for employees.

CresCom University allows the bank to provide new and on-going training to employees throughout the year, and is available to all employees regardless of tenure or title. The primary goal of the University is to provide an environment that encourages team members to learn, develop and ultimately be fully engaged in their every day work. CresCom University offers employees several classroom courses and more than 150 online courses covering a variety of topics, including leadership, managing change, compliance and customer service.

Lauren Henson is the bank’s senior vice president for CresCom University and oversees all instruction and curriculum. The bank has also recently hired Dawn Small to serve as a CresCom University instructor who will focus on educating the bank’s retail team, primarily tellers and customer service representatives.

“We’re pleased to officially open CresCom University,” said Henson. “The in-depth training program allows us to further educate our team and keep each CresCom Bank employee performing at a superior level.”
