January 17, 2014, Charleston, S.C. – CresCom Bank welcomes Morgan Smith as an accountant in its finance department, Chris Akers as a staff appraiser, Robbin Bernhard as a customer service representative, September Woodson as a call center representative, Ruth Middleton as a teller and Anna Ebert as a part-time teller.

Smith, Akers and Woodson will operate out of the bank’s West Ashley location; Bernhard will work at the Meeting Street branch location in downtown Charleston; Middleton will be in the North Charleston branch; and Ebert will operate out of the James Island branch.

Previously, Smith served as the admissions coordinator at Southeastern Institute. She received her bachelor of science degree in business administration from Winthrop University.

Akers’ prior experience includes employment with Dargan/Whitington & Maddox where he focused on real estate appraisals, leasing, property management and consulting. Akers received his bachelor of architecture from Virginia Tech University and his accreditations include a Certified General Real Property Appraiser, Licensed Real Property Salesperson and a Licensed Architect.

Bernhard formerly worked as a personal banker at Wells Fargo. She attended American Bible College and Seminary where she received her bachelor of arts degree in business administration.

Previously, Ebert served as a head teller and service manager at Wells Fargo.  She holds a bachelor of science in finance and economics from the University of South Florida. 

Previously, Woodson served as a personal banker at First Federal and Middleton was a bank teller at Wells Fargo.

Separately, Kathy Matthews, formerly a customer service representative at the bank’s downtown Charleston location, has transferred to the bank’s credit and loan operations department at the West Ashley branch.
